COOKIES POLICY

1. WHAT IS A "COOKIE"

A cookie is defined by the HTTP communication protocol as a string of information sent by an HTTP server to an HTTP client, which the latter returns each time the same HTTP server is queried under certain conditions.

A cookie is the equivalent of a small text file stored on the user's device.

It is sent as an HTTP header by the web server to the web browser, which returns it unchanged each time it accesses the server.

A cookie can be used for authentication, session (state maintenance), and to store specific user information, such as website preferences or the contents of an electronic shopping cart.

Because they are generally stored as simple text files, cookies are not executable. They are neither spyware nor viruses.

Most modern browsers allow users to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Users can also choose the duration of cookie storage. However, completely rejecting cookies renders some websites unusable.

For example, in-store shopping carts or websites that require logging into a customer account. Source: www.wikipedia.org.

2. USE OF COOKIES ON OUR SITE

Each time you visit our website, subject to your preferences, various cookies may be installed on your device to allow us to recognize the internet browser used, for example.

These cookies are linked to the website's operation.

These cookies allow:

– the generation of usage statistics for the elements on our website (sections, subsections, products, services, etc.) in order to improve your daily experience.

– the adaptation of the ergonomics and UX design of our website to the display preferences of your device (language, display resolution, etc.) during your browsing. – Your internet browser records information relating to a form you have completed on our website (contact form).

Please note that refusing the use of these cookies may impact the quality of your visit and user experience.

3. USE OF THIRD-PARTY COOKIES

Images and other objects contained in a web page may reside on servers other than the one hosting the page. To display the page, the browser downloads all of these objects. Most websites contain information from different sources.

For example, if you type www.example.com into your browser, there will often be objects or advertisements on part of the page that come from different sources, i.e., from a domain other than www.example.com.

First-party cookies are cookies that are set by the domain listed in the browser's address bar. Third-party cookies are set by one of the objects on the page that comes from a different domain.

By default, browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, and Opera accept third-party cookies, but users can change their browser settings to block them. There are no inherent security risks associated with third-party cookies that enable web functionality.

These third-party cookies may, for example, allow us to compile statistics (via Google Analytics or Xiti, for example), offer targeted content based on your interests and preferences, or identify the original third-party website that redirected you to our website.
